  • Q. What is Orange RockCorps?

    A. Orange RockCorps encourages volunteering through the power of music. The Orange RockCorps gig programme inspires people to volunteer within their local community by producing concerts for which you can’t buy a ticket. Rather, you must do 4 hours of volunteer work at a Orange RockCorps volunteer project to earn a ticket to the gig. All volunteer projects are completed in partnership and for the benefit of local charity partners.

  • Q. How do I earn my ticket?

  • Q. How do I find an Orange RockCorps project?

    A. Give 4 hours at an Orange RockCorps project near you. Sign In or Register now using the buttons in the top right of your screen and follow the links to find a project.

  • Q. Do projects go ahead even in bad weather?

    A. Orange RockCorps tries to ensure that where possible, projects will go ahead despite poor weather conditions. However in extreme cases it may become necessary to call off a project and in these instances we will do our best to notify all of our volunteers in plenty of time prior to project start time.

  • Q. Can I bring a friend who isn’t signed up to a project?

    A. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee spaces to anyone who arrives at a project who is not signed up for that project.

  • Q. What should I wear for a project?

    A. Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty; some projects involve painting and gardening. It’s best to wear closed-toed shoes, not sandals or flip flops.

  • Q. Should I bring lunch to a project?

    A. Water and a snack will be provided, feel free to bring any extra food.

  • Q. Can I bring my camera and other valuables to a project?

    A. Feel free to bring your camera to projects, but please be aware that Orange RockCorps cannot be held responsible for the safety of any valuables brought to a project, and cannot guarantee a safe place to keep belongings.

  • Q. What safety precautions are there at projects?

    A. Thorough risk assessments are taken prior to every project, to ensure the safety of all on site. All projects are staffed with at least one member of project staff trained in first aid.

  • Q. Which artists are performing at the gig?

    A. Orange RockCorps will announce any artists who will be performing at an Orange RockCorps show throughout the programme, stay tuned to the website and newsletter updates for the latest information.

  • Q. I have a disability. Can I still get involved?

    A. Thorough risk assessments are taken prior to every project, to ensure the safety of all on site. All projects are staffed with at least one member of project staff trained in first aid.

  • Q. Can I nominate a charity organisation?

  • Q. How can I stay involved with a charity organisation after the Orange RockCorps project? Can I continue to volunteer after the project?

    A. If you would like to stay involved with a charity organisation after your Orange RockCorps project, simply tick the box on your waiver which states you are happy to be contacted by the charity you have worked with. You can find contact details of all of our charity partners, here.

The Orange RockCorps Collective
  • Q. What is the Orange RockCorps Collective?

    A. The Orange RockCorps Collective celebrates all volunteering activity and is open to anyone in the UK. Give 4 hours volunteering and tell us what you did, once we validate your story you’ll become a member of the Orange RockCorps Collective and you’ll Get Given an exclusive music reward.

  • Q. How can I join the Orange RockCorps Collective?

    A. Give 4 hours volunteering and tell us about what you did. Once your story has been validated, you will become a member and will Get Given an exclusive music reward.

  • Q. Can I submit my Orange RockCorps project to join the Orange RockCorps Collective?

    A. The Collective celebrates volunteering efforts with charity partners all around the UK. However, unfortunately we cannot accept Orange RockCorps projects as Collective stories and we currently aren't accepting NCS as counting toward collective volunteering, but very much do accept any additional volunteer work that any NCS graduates complete. Tell us about four hours you have Given outside of Orange RockCorps or NCS.

  • Q. Am I guaranteed a prize if I join the Orange RockCorps Collective?

    A. Yes, once we have validated your story, you will Get Given access to an exclusive music reward.

  • Q. How can I involve an organisation in my neighbourhood ?

    A. Contact them and let them know about the Orange RockCorps Collective; arrange a time to volunteer; Give your 4 hours and tell us about it.

  • Q. Can I arrange my own volunteering event and will it count?

    A. Yes, as long as you Give 4 hours to the planning of your volunteering event.

  • Q. I volunteer at a local park/organisation but it’s not a charity, can I still join the Orange RockCorps collective?

    A. Yes, we accept all volunteer work with valid charities, parks and organisations.

  • Q. How many gift cards can I earn?

    A. Each volunteer can only earn one Ticketmaster Gift Card or exclusive music reward every six months. Any additional Collective submissions will be entered into a prize draw for various ongoing musical rewards and prizes.

Do Some Good
  • Q. What is Do Some Good?

    A. Do Some Good is an app that lets you do bite-size actions on your mobile in five minutes or less to make a difference to the things you care about. It offers a number of actions that let you easily volunteer at a time and place that suits you. With lots of people doing small actions we can create a big impact for charitable organisations.

  • Q. Can I get an Orange RockCorps music reward using the Do Some Good App? If so, how?

    A. Yes, Give 60 actions (equivalent to 4 hours) volunteering through our Do Some Good app and you will become eligible to join the Orange RockCorps Collective and earn amazing music rewards. Once you have completed your 60 actions you will receive instructions through the app explaining how to collect your reward.

  • Q. What is the connection between Do Some Good and Orange RockCorps?

    A. Orange has always been passionate about helping people to volunteer, so we’ve worked with Orange RockCorps for quite some time to make this happen. They’ve worked with us on the app and we’ve teamed up with them to offer ways of rewarding people.

  • Q. What types of music rewards can I get?

    A. Rewards have included Ticketmaster Gift Cards and other exclusive prizes through the Collective.

  • Q. How will I find out what impact my volunteering has had?

    A. Every time you do an action the charity informs you of the impact you are having for them. You can also see the impact of everyone’s actions added together, are shown on our good news section of the website and on the charities’ websites.

  • Q. On which Blackberry® Handsets can I download Do Some Good?

    A. BlackBerry® devices that are compatible are the Curve 8520, Curve 9300, Bold 9700, Bold 9780 and Torch 9800.

    A. No, you have to actually take part in a project to earn a ticket to a gig. You can do this either by volunteering 4 hours for Wembley Projects or Give 4 hours volunteering for the Collective.
