Where: Thames21
When: Wednesday 1st September 2010
What: On a beautiful sunny Wednesday morning 68 volunteers rocked up at a Thames21 project in Bow. Volunteers pulled up their steel toe cap boots, threw on their high visibility jackets and massive rubber gloves and got to work. The volunteers scrubbed, brushed, swept, picked and grappled their way through graffiti ridden bridges, trash filled docksides and murky rubbish stricken rivers. The result: a cleaner, safer and more accessible space for local residents to enjoy!
Thanks to all who Gave their 4 hours! Don't forget to check out the photos from your project, here, and stay tuned for exclusive gig info, here!
