Where: Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park
When: Saturday 21st August
What: 124 Orange RockCorps volunteers revamped Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park on Saturday. We spruced up the fencing round the park and cleared the ivy from the most overgrown areas. Whether it was sanding down metal fencing and painting over rust, adding the finishing touches to the top coat of paint or clearing the undergrowth, Orange RockCorps volunteers well and truly got stuck in and finished all the tasks that they were asked to do! The charity partner Ken was very happy with everyone’s work, so a huge pat on the back to every single one of you who came down and gave your four hours.
A special mention must go to Sarah who turned up at the project site at 10am, four hours before the project started, and gave the Orange RockCorps staff a helping hand in setting up.
Thanks to all who Gave their 4 hours! Don't forget to check out the photos from your project, here, and stay tuned for exclusive gig info, here!
